# How to customize the launch time for each course?

Sometimes course videos are prepared in advance and uploaded to the backend, but you may not want to publish them too early. 
How do you set it up?

1. Go to the course backend and click on the unit you want to operate.

2. After clicking into the unit, at the bottom of the settings, you can see **"Is it published?"**. 
Click `Yes`, and you should see the **"Custom published at"** option.
In the custom publishing time, select the date and time you want to publish, and then click `Update` .

3. After setting it up, you can see a small **alarm clock icon** next to the unit in the chapter unit. 
Hover over it to see the release time you just set!
