# How to delete a student from student list?

|| Reminder: This feature is only available for students **who have not purchased or participated in any courses** as it cannot be retrieved once deleted.

→ If you want to prevent students from viewing courses, the better way is **"Remove Course"** or **"Change Student Viewing Period"**.

If you are sure you want to delete a student, please go to the ** individual backend of the student ** you want to delete, and you should see a `Delete Student` button at the bottom right.

1.  Go to Teachify dashboard, find the specific student from user list.

2. Find `Delete Student` button at the bottom right.

3. After clicking, the system will confirm with you again whether you want to delete the student. 
If there is no problem, click `Ok` to proceed.
